MEDIA CONSUMPTION IN NOVEMBER

Movies / Shows I Watched
This month I watched all of The Hangover movies, and it was honestly one of the most chaotic and entertaining things I binge watched. The first movie was definitely the best the storyline felt fresh, the humor actually made me laugh, and the whole mystery of "what happened last night?" kept me invested. I liked the cast's chemistry and how unpredictable everything was. However, watching the sequels back-to-back made them feel a little repetitive. A lot of the jokes felt recycled, and the plot didn't hit as hard as the first one.
I also watched Unsolved Mysteries, which was a completely different energy. I enjoyed the thrill of real cases and how each episode kept me guessing, but sometimes it got heavy, especially when the endings had no closure. The suspense was great, but after a few in a row, it started to feel emotionally draining.

Music, I Listened To
Music-wise, November had me deep in my dark R&B phase, especially Chase Atlantic and Zeke Pujols.
Chase Atlantic has that moody, late-night sound that feels emotional but chill, and I liked how their songs have smooth vocals with bass-heavy beats that make you zone out.
Zeke Pujols had a similar dark tone but blended with Latin influences, which made the music feel even more personal and atmospheric. I really liked how both artists create music you can sit and think to it feels like soundtrack-music for your inner thoughts. The only downside is that listening to them too much can put you in a mentally dark vibe because the lyrics and tone get heavy, so it's not the best if you want something upbeat. Still, they fit the mood for November perfectly.

Spotify Wrapped
When my Spotify Wrapped dropped, it made total sense most of my top songs and artists were Latin dark R&B. My wrap basically exposed how much I gravitate toward slower, emotional music more than hype or upbeat tracks. I liked seeing how many minutes I listened to music this year and which artists I returned to the most. It was actually cool seeing the visuals and knowing that my listening habits told a story of what kind of moods I was in throughout the year. What I liked most was discovering that my music taste leaned heavily toward Latin R&B, because it helped me find more artists within that genre. The only thing I didn't love is realizing how much sad or dark music I listened to it made me want to balance my playlists more next month.
